For those trained in internal family systems (IFS):

I offer specialized consultation to help you grow your skills, integrate the model more effectively, and confidently apply IFS principles in your work. Consultation provides the tailored support you need—whether you work in a group setting or as a solo practitioner. Together, we’ll strengthen your skills, explore challenges, and ensure your practice reflects your commitment to equity, inclusion, and liberation.

You don’t have to do it alone. I care about your success and am dedicated to seeing you thrive as a therapist making a difference in your community.

Why choose me as your consultant?

Choosing me as your consultant means working with someone who brings not only professional expertise but also deep lived experience, authenticity, and a commitment to liberation-focused care. Here’s why I stand out:

1.

Intersectional and Relatable Approach
As a Black, queer, neurodivergent therapist and survivor, I understand the unique challenges and systemic barriers that mental health professionals from marginalized communities face. I offer a space where you can show up as your full self, free from judgment, and receive support rooted in intersectionality, compassion, and empowerment.

2.

Expertise in Internal Family Systems (IFS)
As a Certified Level 3 IFS Therapist and IFS Approved Consultant, I have years of experience integrating IFS into therapy, supervision, and consultation. Whether you’re new to IFS or looking to refine your skills, I provide practical guidance that helps you confidently apply the model in your work.

3.

Focus on Anti-Oppression and Social Justice
I bring a feminist, womanist lens to everything I do, helping clinicians dismantle oppressive frameworks, navigate the impact of white supremacy culture, and build practices that align with their values of equity and liberation.

4.

Tailored, Compassionate Support
Whether you’re seeking help with case consultation, exploring clinician parts that may be affecting your work, or building an authentic private practice, I tailor our sessions to your specific needs. My goal is to help you grow professionally while staying true to your values and avoiding burnout.

5.

Commitment to Your Success
I’m deeply invested in seeing you thrive. I understand the weight of doing this work in systems not designed for us, and I’m here to lighten that load. I want to see you succeed and feel confident in your work while creating a practice that is meaningful and sustainable.

6.

Proven Experience and Leadership
With over 8 years of clinical experience and 5 years of dedicated IFS practice, I’ve worked in diverse settings, including community mental health, schools, and private practice. As a clinical supervisor, consultant, and facilitator, I’ve supported therapists from all backgrounds in strengthening their skills and navigating complex challenges.

By choosing me, you’re choosing a consultant who is fully invested in your growth, your success, and your ability to make a lasting impact in your community. Together, we’ll create a foundation for your work that feels aligned, empowered, and liberatory.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  1. Do I need to be IFS Level 1 trained to join?

No! This group is open to both IFS Level 1-trained clinicians and those who have taken IFS workshops or lectures but have not yet completed Level 1.

If you are not yet Level 1 trained, my hope is that this experience will deepen your understanding of IFS and encourage you to pursue formal training. This group will help you see the power of IFS in action, engage in case discussions, and develop confidence in the model, making Level 1 training feel even more valuable and applicable when you take that next step.

If you’ve already completed Level 1, this space allows you to continue integrating, applying, and refining your skills in a structured and supportive environment.

2. What if I’m new to IFS and not ready to apply it yet?

That’s completely okay! This group is designed for both practicing clinicians and those still in the learning process. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of IFS, see it applied in clinical work, and have the opportunity to ask questions—all of which will help prepare you for Level 1 training and future IFS practice.

3. Do I need to present a case?

No, presenting a case is not required. You can engage in the way that best supports your learning—whether by bringing a case for consultation or by observing, asking questions, and reflecting on the discussion. Some participants find that presenting a case helps them receive direct feedback, while others benefit from witnessing case discussions and applying those insights to their own work. No matter how you choose to participate, this space is designed to deepen your understanding of IFS in a way that feels supportive and aligned with where you are in your learning process.

4. Can I bring my own client cases for discussion?

Yes! Clinicians who are actively practicing IFS will have opportunities to present real client cases for discussion and consultation. However, if you are still in the learning phase and not yet applying IFS, you are welcome to observe case discussions, ask questions, and learn through active participation.

5. How many people will be in each group?

Each group is limited to 6-8 participants to ensure an intimate, high-quality learning experience. This allows for personalized feedback, active participation, and a strong sense of community.

6. Will sessions be recorded?

No. To maintain confidentiality and create a safe space for discussion and case consultation, sessions will not be recorded. This ensures that all participants can engage fully and openly in the learning process.

7. What happens if I miss a session?

Because this is a small-group experience with live interaction and real-time discussion, there are no refunds or make-up sessions for missed meetings.

8. What if I can’t make these session dates? How can I find out when the next group opens?

If you’re unable to join this round, you can sign up for the waitlist to be notified when future cohorts open. Waitlist members will be the first to hear about new session dates and availability. If there’s enough interest, additional groups may be scheduled sooner. To stay informed, simply join the waitlist, and we’ll keep you updated!

9. Can I join a waitlist if the group is full?

Yes! If the group is full, you will have the option to join a waitlist. If a spot opens, we will notify you. If demand is high, we may offer additional groups based on interest.

10. How do I sign up?

Click the “Join Now” button below to reserve your spot. Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged!

11. What is the cancellation policy?

We understand that life happens, and we want to offer flexibility while maintaining the integrity of this small-group experience. If you cancel at least 2 months before the program starts, you’ll receive a full refund. If you cancel within 30 days of the first session, you’ll receive a 50% refund. After the program begins, refunds are not available to honor the commitment of the group. However, if something unexpected comes up, you may have the option to transfer your spot to a future cohort, pending availability. If you need to cancel or explore transfer options, just reach out—we’re happy to help!

12. What should I expect after I sign up?

After you sign up, you’ll receive a confirmation email with details about your group, including the schedule, Zoom link, and any materials to review before our first session. As we get closer to the start date, you’ll receive a welcome email with guidance on how to prepare, what to expect in our sessions, and ways to engage in the learning process.
